Villa Discopoli is one of the most exquisite examples of twentieth century liberty architecture on the island.
During Capri’s Romantic period it was host to several intellectuals. Rainer Maria Rilke, a bohemian Austrian poet and novelist, was one of its prestigious inhabitants.
Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach also lived in the Villa and is famously remembered for writing on its walls
“hereby lives the body of a dead man”.
His paintings are still on show in Capri’s Certosa. A close friend of Axel Munthe, was the first owner of the Villa.
She sold the property in 1970 and the main part of the Villa was bought by Clementina Rodriguez d’Acri.
In 1978, her heirs decided to transform the Villa into several self contained apartments of exquisite charm and beauty.

APT. 1
Apartment 1 is flooded with pink and its variations. It's best suited for a couple and has its own private entrance to the left of the main Villa and a small terrace.

APT. 2
Apartment 2 thrives in yellows and lilacs and exhumes happiness and joy. It is accessible via a private entrance but is directly linked to the garden and main terrace. Sleeping four adults in two bedrooms.

APT. 3
Apartment 3 has made green it's primary feature. With it's private terrace overlooking the Villa's garden, it's dining and fireplace, it is well suited for holidaying in every season. It sleeps two and is ideal for couples.

All apartments have access to an exclusive private garden, where each guest can enjoy the peace and charm of the location.
